Recently re-launched for the 2008/09 academic year, the TTRB is undertaking a series of workshops to promote the use of the Teacher Training Resource Bank (TTRB) across the country. The first of these events was in Darlington on 28th October, with delegates from local HEI and school based providers.
A range of presentations was delivered throughout the day, including a keynote input from Professor Peter Tymms from Durham University. The presentation slides and an audio recording from this are available below.
The workshop also had briefings on the technical and content enhancements of the TTRB, as well as workshops on the TTRB's links with the subject associations and opportunities for supported hands on sessions to explore the new facilities on the TTRB. In the afternoon, there were sessions on making the best use of the TTRB on programmes of Initial Teacher Education and Training and how to become a reviewer for the TTRB.
